Although we cannot always celebrate Mass together at Church, we can gather on Sundays to pray and celebrate Mass together via the internet. At just before 9:30pm, click within the image above to join Mass. The readings for the Mass have been included here (click the link), so that you can follow along with The Liturgy.
Here are this week's Prayers of the Faithful:
For all people to believe in the miracle of Christmas; a startling story that continues to be told; that Jesus was born and God entered our world, to teach us to love, and to save our souls; we pray to the Lord.
For all people to draw near to this table in awe and adoration, and know Jesus in the manger is now present in the Eucharist; we pray to the Lord.
For the Church to lead all to the Light that shines from the stable, to know him who will banish the darkness of our world full of sin and confusion; we pray to the Lord.
For an end to hatred, resentment, destruction, and distrust, and malevolence of all kinds between all people; may the reign of the Prince of Peace descend on all affected by violence and war; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are ill and broken in spirit; and for all who doubt and deny the true meaning of Christmas; that all will seek Jesus, who now dwells among us, to find his truth and his peace, and the healing that they need for their body and soul; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for our deceased loves ones, for the parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake, for world peace, for all who are lonely and afraid; that all souls, and all people on earth, will find the peace that comes from the birth of our Lord; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women and their loved ones, for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line, and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
