For all to be astonished by the miracle of Easter that continues to be told, and believe that Jesus is risen and is present in the Eucharist; we pray to the Lord.
For the Church to roll back the stone that entombs the whole world, and boldly proclaim Christ, who resurrects lives that are wounded and weary, and who alone can restore the planet we’ve destroyed; we pray to the Lord.
For leaders of nations to emerge from their tomb of violence and war, and recognize the Risen Christ as their ruler and Lord; we pray to the Lord.
For Felicia Patenaude, Evan Patenaude, and Aidan Finn, who received the sacraments of our faith on this sacred night; that the empty tomb of our Savior will fill their souls with hope and joy, and their lives with purpose and peace; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are ill and broken in spirit; for all entombed by poverty and pain, and by addiction and depression; and for Pope Francis; that all will seek the Risen Christ to find healing and hope, and the joy of new life; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us; and for William Cato, who recently died, and for the parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake, whom we remember at this Mass; that all souls will rise to new life in Heaven with Christ who is risen; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women, and especially those in harm’s way, and for their loved ones; and for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line; and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
