Here are this week's Prayers of the Faithful:
That we abandon our nets of worldly attachments and sins that entrap us, to follow the Lord wherever He leads us; we pray to the Lord.
For the Apostles to intercede and inspire all bishops and clergy to be the fishers of men Christ called them to be, and go out and catch souls for the Kingdom of God; we pray to the Lord.
For our country; may the leaders of our nation make decisions which promote the Godly and constitutional values upon which it was founded, to ensure true peace, justice, and the common good; we pray to the Lord.
For all people to respect and to care for all of creation, and be grateful for those who work on the water, and for those who work on the land, to bring food to our table; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are ill and broken in spirit, and for all who are drowning in addiction and despair; and for David Bremer; that all will drop their nets that entangle them in fear and pain, and follow the Lord to find healing and hope; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for Lisa Marie Chartier, who recently died, and for Anna Price, Christopher Norman, Mary Katherine Mancino Murawski and the parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake, whom we remember at this Mass; that our Lord of all compassion will grant them life everlasting; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women and their loved ones, for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line, and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
