Although we cannot always celebrate Mass together at Church, we can gather on Sundays to pray and celebrate Mass together via the internet. At just before ten o'clock, click within the image above to join Mass.
The readings for the Mass have been included here (click the link), so that you can follow along with The Liturgy. Here are this week's Prayers of the Faithful:
- For our lives to be grafted to the vine of Christ, and be pruned of the sins that wither our souls; we pray to the Lord.
- For the Church to remain rooted in Christ, and branch out and bear fruit to a world that is starving for goodness and truth; we pray to the Lord.
- For our nation in this election year: may the light of the Spirit lead us to make choices that establish justice and peace, and may those we elect truly pursue the common good, and make us more and more one nation under God; we pray to the Lord.
- For an end to violence, hatred, and turmoil around the world, especially in Ukraine, the Middle East, Haiti, and Nigeria: for justice and peace to reign in our world, and may we never despair knowing all things are possible with God; we pray to the Lord.
- For awareness of the need to care for creation; that the fruits of the earth bless all people and nations; we pray to the Lord.
- For James Michael Ward, baptized into our parish family this weekend; for his parents and godparents to teach him to know Jesus, and to live the Gospel; we pray to the Lord.
- For all who are ill and broken in spirit; for all who have been affected by the pandemic, and for all cut off from the vine of our faith and wither away; that all will be grafted to Christ, who alone gives the fruits of healing and hope; we pray to the Lord.
- For all who have gone before us; for all who have died in the pandemic; and for Lucille Robillard and Dominic Testa, who recently died, and for William Ethier, Phil Anzalone, Virginia & James McHugo, Anna McMahon, Anne Gulick, Dave Reed and Robert & Claire St. Jean, whom we remember at this Mass; for their souls to be pruned and know the fruit of salvation; we pray to the Lord.
- For all service men and women and their loved ones, for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line, and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone (PAUSE); we pray to the Lord.
