That we deepen our faith to be credible Christians who love like Jesus, in the words that we speak and in the lives that we lead, to give hope to others and bring glory to God; we pray to the Lord.
For our Catholic Youth in Action kids, their families, and our parish community who made this weekend’s Cardboard City possible; that putting faith into action taught compassion for the homeless, and the need to pray for and help all who struggle in life; we pray to the Lord.
For our high school graduates who received scholarships for their service to our parish, and for all graduates; that all will serve and seek wisdom and truth in their journey through life, and use their God-given gifts to be a gift to the world; we pray to the Lord.
For the youth of our parish being confirmed this week; for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to make them courageous disciples of Christ who will live the Gospel and make their faith come alive to give purpose and peace to life; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are sick and are suffering, and for all who need love in their lives, and who need tears wiped away; that all will seek Jesus for healing and hope, and find love and compassion from his faithful disciples; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for Scott Blake, who recently died, and for Pat & Mary O’Malley, John Lattanzi, Pamela Trainque, Joan Minich, Terry Allen, Ba Noi and Russell Hoig, all of whom we remember at our weekend Masses; for our loving Lord to grant them life everlasting; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women, and especially those in harm’s way, and for their loved ones; and for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line; and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
