Here are this week's Prayers of the Faithful: 

• For our faith to be courageous and joyful like Mary and Elizabeth; that we trust in God and know his plans work for good for those who love him; we pray to the Lord.

• For a new evangelization; for all clergy, religious, and laity to imitate Mary, especially at Christmas, and go out in haste to share the good news that Jesus is with us; we pray to the Lord.

• For an end to hatred, resentment, destruction, and distrust, and malevolence of all kinds between all people; may the reign of the Prince of Peace descend on all affected by violence and war; we pray to the Lord.

• For the holy mothers, Mary and Elizabeth, to protect the unborn, and awaken all people to respect all life; we pray to the Lord.

• For all who are sick, lonely, and afraid, and for all who are pregnant; that all will seek Mary our Mother for comfort and courage, and Jesus her Son for healing and peace; we pray to the Lord.

• For all who have gone before us, and for Joseph and Bernie Dauphin, Lawrence Whelan, Marko DiSessa, Paul Cormier, Dennis Raspuzzi, Leonard Trinkle and Jean Maher, whom we remember at this Mass; for the Mother of God to lead them to Heaven and to life with her Son; we pray to the Lord.

• For all service men and women and their loved ones, for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line, and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
