Although we cannot always celebrate Mass together at Church, we can gather on Sundays to pray and celebrate Mass together via the internet. At just before ten o'clock, click within the image above to join Mass. The readings for the Mass have been included here (click the link), so that you can follow along with The Liturgy.
Here are this week's Prayers of the Faithful:
For a new evangelization; that we tell others about Jesus to fulfill scripture each day, and bring the Gospel to life in our words and in our deeds; we pray to the Lord.
For the Church anointed by Christ to fulfill his mission; to give sight to those blinded by sin; liberate those oppressed by corruption and confusion; and set people free with mercy and hope; we pray to the Lord.
For an end to hatred, resentment, destruction, and distrust, and malevolence of all kinds between all people; may the reign of the Prince of Peace descend on all affected by violence and war; we pray to the Lord.
For our second grade students receiving their First Reconciliation, and for their families; for this sacrament of mercy to strengthen their love for each other, bring peace to their homes, and draw them closer to Jesus; we pray to the Lord.
For the poor and the sick; for those who are lonely and sad; and for those held captive by addiction and depression; that Jesus will heal them and free them, and grant them comfort and peace; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for Mona Fiore, Viola Paulhus, Bob Cravedi, Tina Raspuzzi, Frank Marchessault, and the parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake, whom we remember at this Mass; for their souls to be set free and be with Jesus in Heaven; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women and their loved ones, for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line, and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
