As you can see, we have been blessed with wonderful weather these past few days! It is always good to see the beauty of God’s Creation in full bloom at this time of year. Perhaps it is something we can take advantage of as a parish? Let’s try.
Beginning
Sunday, June 21, we will begin celebrating the
6pm Mass, weather permitting, in the parish parking lot. We will continue to observe all the Social Distancing Protocols of the moment, but being six feet apart, you may feel safer and more comfortable outside.
You will need to bring your own chair. If you come as a family living in the same home, you may all sit together. If you are here on your own, we’ll make sure you are six feet apart from your nearest neighbor.
The Eucharist will be distributed the same way as the ushers spray your hand with sanitizer, wearing your mask you can receive communion as you lift it over your mouth and then return to your seat.
We’ll be doing this throughout the summer as long as the weather is good. I hope this will encourage those of you who are still unsure about coming into the Church building to come to the Church outdoors!
