Although we cannot always celebrate Mass together at Church, we can gather on Sundays to pray and celebrate Mass together via the internet. At just before ten o'clock, click within the image above to join Mass.
The readings for the Mass have been included here (click the link) , so that you can follow along with The Liturgy.
Here are this week's Prayers of the Faithful:
For awareness of how possessions possess us and distract us from Jesus; that we seek to live simply and share with others who need us; we pray to the Lord.
For the Church to echo the words of Christ and warn us that our culture of consumerism and desire for pleasure and possessions steal from the poor and prevent us from entering the Kingdom of God; we pray to the Lord.
For victims of natural disasters; for God’s mercy to be with those who have died and His grace with those who survived, and for assistance from others and hope to sustain them in rebuilding their lives; we pray to the Lord.
For people of all nations, races, religions, ideologies, languages and classes, to live together in a world without violence and hatred, but with love and concern for all; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are ill and broken in spirit, and for the poor and forgotten, and those who desire the treasures of this world; that all will seek Jesus for healing and hope, and find contentment and peace in living life for our Lord; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for Dennis Martines, Nicholas Cordio, James Donovan, Ann Donovan, Louise Dion, and the parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake, whom we remember at this Mass; that their souls will find Jesus and their treasure in Heaven; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women and their loved ones, for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line, and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
