David has been a member of Our Lady of the Lake parish since 2009. He lives in Fitchburg with his wife Mary, and they have three children and seven grandchildren.
David retired after 46 years years at Leominster Hospital only to step in as the interim Director of Facilities at Heywood Hospital.
David also serves on the board at St. Bernard's Elementary school, and volunteers each year at the Parish Bazaar and Chowder Fest.
Katie has been involved with Our Lady of the Lake since 1979, when she led the folk group, and officially became a member of the parish in 1984. She has a daughter who lives in the area with her family, including a four-year-old grandson.
She was a charter member of the original Confirmation team started by Father Jim Hoey and worked with teams at that level for about fifteen years, while continuing her work with the folk group for over thirty years. She has also worked the annual parish bazaar since the 1980s.
She was a Presentation Sister for six years, and most of her working life was spent at St. Bernard's High School as a teacher of Humanities and English, from 1977-1980 and again from 1986-2019.
Now retired, she enjoys attending reading, plays and music events with friends. She recently joined the Associates of the Presentation Sisters, which gives her the opportunity to be involved with several organizations that help women & children.
Debbie has been an active member of Our Lady of the Lake since 2003, when her late husband, Jim and she moved to MA from New Bern, NC. She lives in Lunenburg and has 3 boys and 6 grandchildren. Debbie is a retired Speech Language Pathologist and worked in NC Public Schools and Leominster Public Schools, more recently working with preschool children on the Autism Spectrum.
Debbie currently volunteers as Sacristan, Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Altar Server, as well as the Funeral Ministry, Social Events Committee, Bazaar, Ministry Fair, Altar Server Training and various sewing projects at OLL. She previously volunteered on the OCIA Team and this is her second term on the Parish Council.
Debbie loves spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting and reading.
Doug lives in Leominster with his wife, Amanda. Their three girls Lily (age 22), Stella (20), and Amelia (16) all participated in the OLL religious education program.
Doug has a Civil Engineering degree from Northeastern University and has worked for Turner Construction Company in Boston his entire career.
He officially joined Our Lady of the Lake in 2013 through the RCIA program and chairs the Pie & Ice Cream booth at the Parish Bazaar.
Oscar has been a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish since 1983. He and his wife Ann were married at OLL in 1985, and their three boys, Patrick, Kevin and Neil all participated in the religious education program.
He volunteers annually at the Parish Bazaar and is a member of the Social Committee.
Oscar is a graduate of St. Anselm College and recently retired after a 40 year career at Leominster Credit Union.
Sara has been a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish since a child, celebrating the sacraments from first communion to marriage in our faith community.
She is a catechist in our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program and can often be found celebrating mass from the front rows of our parish with her husband Dan, and their children Grayson, Brady and Harley.
Sara is a graduate of Fitchburg State University and is passionate about her career in eye care.
Lisa joined the Pastoral Staff of Our Lady of the Lake in 1997 as Director of Religious Ed, until her retirement in 2018. She and her husband Joe have been blessed with over 50 years of marriage, and three adult daughters.
She has served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, with a love for the homebound and has enjoyed working on the Building and Christian Service Scholarship Committees, Prayer Line, Peer Retreat Teams and programs for children with special needs.
Lisa graduated from Misericordia University with a degree in Psych Nursing with adolescents and young adults and is certified in bereavement counseling.
Virginia Polley has been a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish since 1996 along with her two daughters.
She has been involved in the RCIA program as a sponsor for many candidates, has volunteered for the annual Parish Bazaar, the Social Events Committee, the Church Restoration Committee and the Funeral Ministry.
She sings in the Adult Choir and also serves as a Lector and an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
Tim and his wife Jessica, along with their children Kaitlyn and Ryan, have been members of Our Lady of the Lake since 2011.
Tim is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and volunteers at the Parish Bazaar every year.
He is a graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School as well as Anna Maria College and Arkansas State University. Tim is the Deputy Fire Chief and Paramedic with the Devens Fire Department.
