For deeper faith that gives us courage to jump from our boats of fear and confusion, to be with our Risen Lord on the shore, and learn his purpose and peace; we pray to the Lord.
For the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Cardinals of the conclave; that they elect a new pope who will seek only God’s Kingdom to come, and his will to be done; we pray to the Lord.
For our country; for the leaders of our nation to make decisions which promote the Godly and constitutional values upon which it was founded, to ensure true peace, justice, and the common good; we pray to the Lord.
For the children of our parish who received their First Holy Communion this weekend and for their families; that their faith will be fed by the love that is found with Jesus, who is present in the Eucharist and in this parish community; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are sick and are suffering; and for all drifting alone in this world of despair and confusion; that all will cast their nets of worry and pain into the sea of God’s grace to be healed and find hope; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for Diane Adair, Terry Allen, Donald Cowan, Nancyne Forzese, Christopher Gaudet, Elaine Normandin, Michael Allen and Alexandra Kogut, whom we remember at this Mass; that all will rise with Christ to everlasting life; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women, and especially those in harm’s way, and for their loved ones; and for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line; and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
